Congratulations to Brianna Bosley and her students at Derby High School who are the national winners of the 2021 CEWD STEM Innovation Challenge!

The 2021 Virtual STEM Innovation Challenge ran from February 1-April 15, 2021. It was created to help educate high school students about careers in the energy (STEM) field. The DHS group found out they were the West coast winners and would face the East coast winner on April 15 in a virtual "Shark Tank" Competition. The “Shark Tank” style of competition helps ignite meaningful ingenuity in students to efficiently and sustainably develop a plan for how to reduce a school’s carbon footprint. The DHS team did an amazing job and were announced the national winners. Additionally, the winner receives $1,000 for their school.

We are #DerbyProud of these students!
