Summer Learning and Activities
Whether you’re looking to avoid the summer slide, needing additional tutoring support or just looking for engaging academic enrichment activities to fill some of your child’s days off, Derby Public Schools has a variety of FREE summer learning opportunities for currently enrolled K-8 grade students! Summer learning opportunities are planned by Derby teachers to offer themed learning with hands-on, fun activities with instructional support. Sessions are free to attend and sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis. Session 1: June 2 – June 26, 2025 and Session 2: July 7 – July 23, 2025. You are encouraged to attend the entire 3-week session, held Monday - Thursday from 8AM-11AM.
