Military-Connected Educational Partnership Council
McConnell AFB and Derby Public Schools have developed a Military-Connected Educational Partnership Council. This council includes senior leadership from both McConnell and the school district in a collaborative effort to enhance communication, continue to build our educational partnership and work in unison to improve experiences in the district for military-connected families. The council will also be empowered to recommend solutions directly to military and educational decision-makers.
The leadership council will meet quarterly, first in closed session to address current initiatives and needs. An open forum will follow where military-connected parents can address the council directly to share ideas, feedback or concerns.
The next open forum for this school year will be Tuesday, January 21 at 6PM at Stone Creek Elementary, 3012 N. Triple Creek Drive. The leadership council will meet prior to the open forum.
