As a requirement of the American Rescue Plan: Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP/ESSER III) fund, school districts receiving funds must maintain a plan for safe in-person instruction and continuity of services. Derby Public Schools (USD 260) has policies and procedures in place, and our goal is to maintain a healthy and safe environment. For the 2023-2024 school year, we have normal school operations and are monitoring recommendations from the Sedgwick County Health Department, Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The district will monitor and adjust plans/safety protocols on an as needed basis. Note: Derby Public Schools will follow state or federal mandates.
