Congratulations to Oaklawn Elementary for being awarded a 2024 Certificate of Merit from the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE)! This recognition is for outstanding achievement and uncommon accomplishment based on Kansas math and reading assessment results and other qualifying factors.
The Challenge Awards are a celebration of the great work schools are doing and serve as a reminder to continue pushing forward to improve student academic performance and narrow the gap between all subgroups, including racial, socio-economic and special needs. The schools recognized by KSDE are doing an exceptional job in these areas.
