With 95.2% of seniors in the Class of 2025 earning diplomas, Derby High School set a new record for its highest graduation rate to date! Graduation is truly a district-wide effort, with a strong emphasis at the secondary level through a focused approach that provides multiple pathways for student success. This includes Individual Plans of Study, Work-Based Learning, E-Academy, the Panther Learning Center and more. 

Kansas achieved a historic milestone this year, as 90.5% of seniors in the Class of 2025 graduated, marking the highest statewide graduation rate reported by the Kansas State Department of Education.

Statistics indicate that high school graduates earn approximately 9% more over their lifetimes than non-graduates. This progress reflects the intentional work happening across our district to ensure students achieve postsecondary success.
