Derby Public Schools is proud to offer several different early childhood learning programs that meet the social, emotional and educational needs of students. Beginning on Monday, May 5 at 6AM, application requests will open for the district’s two, full-time 4-year-old Pre-Kindergarten classrooms - one at Derby Hills Elementary and one at El Paso Elementary. **Must be 4 years old by August 31, 2025.**
- May 5, 2025: Pre-K Online Application Form Opens. Once all spots are filled and enrollment confirmed, a waiting list will be established.
- By June 16, 2025: Residency confirmed from applicants
- Mid-July 2025: Enrollment dates are to be determined in July, parents/guardians will be contacted with these dates to complete enrollment.
- August 13, 2025: First Day of School (staggered start, schools will share details)
