Derby Public Schools is participating in our 11th Annual Community Food Drive to benefit the Derby Community Food Pantry, serving USD 260 residents. At this point in the year, the Food Bank is often running low on food items to distribute to those in need.

Please bring in non-perishable food items Monday, March 2-Thursday, March 5 to help reach our district-wide goal of 10,000 items! All items are counted and sorted by Project Life at DTEC (Derby Transition Educational Center) and Project SEARCH students.

This drive will take place in conjunction with the Derby Chamber of Commerce Pancake Feed on Saturday, March 7. Pancake packs are $7 per person and include a stack of pancakes, two sausages, butter and syrup. Dine in or use the drive-thru from 8-10:30AM at American Legion Post 408,120 E. Washington in Derby.
