Derby Public Schools believes all students deserve the opportunity to succeed through progressive and high-quality instruction. We are preparing to Return to Learn for the 2020-2021 school year and are committed to providing exceptional educational experiences for our students, while also offering choice for their comfort level.

Two learning model options will be offered: In-Person or Remote.

*During enrollment, families will be asked to commit to a learning model for a 9-week grading period. Please know all plans are subject to change based on the status of COVID-19 and state and local health department guidelines.

In-Person
In-Person

Students will receive in-person instruction daily according to the school year calendar. If traditional instruction is not able to occur, we will convert to hybrid or remote schedules. Find more information about the In-Person learning model HERE.

Remote
Remote

Remote (online only) instruction will be offered by Derby Public Schools instructors to families who elect to learn from home. This instruction will also be offered to all students at times when school is not able to be in session due to COVID-19. Coursework will consist of graded lessons and assignments delivered in an electronic format. Learn more HERE.
