Random Drug Testing Policy
The mission of the Derby USD 260 random drug testing policy is to provide an additional deterrent to curb issues related to substance abuse in students. The objective is to provide a system of assistance for students, and a purpose for opting out of the peer pressures associated with using drugs and alcohol. It is designed to create a safe, drug-free environment for students and assist them in accessing help when needed. The procedure for random drug testing of high school students participating in extra-curricular activities, as defined in this policy, will be accomplished in conjunction with an independent drug-testing vendor. view more information, click the button below.
