Derby Public Schools is proud to offer several different early childhood learning programs. These programs meet the social, emotional and educational needs of a variety of students. Derby Public Schools offers two, full-time 4-year-old Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) classrooms. **Must be 4-years-old by August 31, 2026. Program is full for the 2026-2027 School Year**

Location: Derby Hills Elementary and El Paso Elementary
Hours of Service: Monday-Friday, 7:55AM-3:20PM (Derby Hills) and 8:05-3:30PM (El Paso)
*Late Start Mondays: Schools start one hour later than normal
Fee: Tuition for the full-day Pre-K program is $450 a semester, $900 per school year. Reduced rates are available for students eligible for free and reduced lunch rates. A $25 curriculum fee will be charged for all students.
