Important information regarding the 2024-2025 school year enrollment for all students is now available.
Whether you are looking to avoid the summer slide or need academic support, Derby Public Schools has a variety of FREE summer learning opportunities for currently enrolled K-8 grade students.
New for the 2024-2025 school year, the immunization exclusion date for students has been moved from November to September 3, 2024.
Congratulations to Olivia Winegeart, 2nd-Grade Teacher at Cooper Elementary, and Ethan Wagoner, Band Teacher at Derby Middle School on being named our district's nominees for Kansas Teacher of the Year (KTOY) for 2025. Additionally, we are proud to share that Mrs. Winegeart was named a Region IV finalist and will go on to compete for Kansas Teacher of the Year for 2025!
The 2024-2025 school year calendar was approved at the April 3 Board of Education Meeting.

Registration for STEMKAMP in Derby (scheduled for June 24-27, 9AM-3PM at Derby North Middle School) is now open.
