DHS Students Recognized for AP Scores
In the spring of 2016, Derby Public Schools received a three-year grant from the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSi) in the amount of $1.7 million. The purpose of the grant is to increase enrollment in AP courses in Math, Science and English and to increase the success of students on AP exams. The grant pays half the exam fees for students in those courses and rewards students who earn qualifying scores.
