Derby Public Schools Placed on College Board's 8th Annual AP District Honor Roll
Derby Public Schools is one of 447 school districts in the U.S. and Canada and one of five in Kansas being honored by the College Board with placement on the 8th Annual AP District Honor Roll. To be included on the 8th Annual Honor Roll, Derby Public Schools had to, since 2015, increase the number of students participating in AP while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.

On March 1, Derby Public Schools is participating in Food Friday on a Thursday to benefit Derby Community Family Services, who runs the Derby Food Bank. At this point in the year, the Food Bank is often running low on food items to distribute to those in need. Our students and staff could bring in over 7,000 items if everyone in the district brings at least 1 item!
